Five reasons NOT to book a photographer for your event

You’re probably organising an event and are trying to justify why you should not book a photographer for it. Well, I am here to give you five solid reasons not to book a photographer for your event. Here goes!

Reasons:

1. Because blurry, dimly lit phone pics are totally timeless.

Who needs clear, sharp, well-composed photos when cousin Tshepo’s thumb is in 90% of the shots?

2. You want nice things, but for free.

Take money & pay someone to do what they do best? What for? That’s what smartphones are for remember? You have it all figured out.

3. Memories are for the weak.

Why capture once-in-a-lifetime moments when you can just let them fade into the void of forgotten Saturdays? Maybe cousin Tshepo will still remember and perfectly narrate how it all went down several years later.

4. Your guests who came to enjoy the event should work too.

Obviously, your friends are there to double as unpaid photographers while balancing drinks and jamming on the dance floor.

5. Because "I wish we had hired a photographer" sounds way more fun to say later.

It’s not a real event unless you regret it for years every time someone asks to see pictures.

Can you think of any other? Bless.
